Junction National Bank
Darla Rooke is president and CEO of Junction National Bank in Junction, Texas, as well as a member of the bank’s board of directors. Her banking career spans more than 30 years and began in Junction National Bank’s bookkeeping department in 1980. She has worked in almost every area of the bank since then, rising through the ranks. In 2010, she was named president and CEO, and also became a board member. Rooke is the fourth president in the 85-year history of Junction National. She has served as both chairman of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) Board of Directors and IBAT Services Board of Directors, in addition to many other leadership roles. She was graduated with distinction from the SW Graduate School of Banking at SMU Cox in 2009.
Rooke is currently a member of the Federal Reserve’s San Antonio Branch Regional Bank Council and previously served as president of the Hill Country Bankers Association. Active in her community, she is treasurer of Christmas in Action – Junction, a nonprofit organization she helped organize with her husband in 1998 that rehabilitates homes for elderly, handicapped, and low-income residents of Kimble County.
