Our flagship program is a three-year graduate course of study designed to develop our nation’s leaders in banking.

This program prepares future leaders in the banking community for greater responsibilities with peer networking, team-building experiences, case studies, a tailored curriculum, and an exceptional student-faculty ratio. The atmosphere during your three summer resident sessions will foster friendships and professional growth for years to come.

Merit Scholarships are available for our highest achievers and are applied directly to tuition or, in the case of graduating Third Year students, refunded to the student or sponsoring institution. All students who attend SWGSB are eligible each year.

Who should attend?

SWGSB is a solid, foundational program for any banker ready to invest in the future of their career and professional growth.

The recommended prerequisite is 3–5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, regulatory agency, or business or agency affiliated with the banking industry, as well as a strong working knowledge of finance and accounting.

Courses are taught by faculty with decades of experience, with additional industry leaders brought in to supplement learning and development.

In addition to class sessions, SWGSB offers unique programming opportunities, such as the Living Case Study and BankCEO. These simulation experiences take learning beyond the classroom and present students with hands-on training. Participants will analyze and study a real-world bank, propose changes, and interact with top management. This hands-on approach to learning provides students with the understanding of what it takes to lead a financial institution in today’s competitive marketplace.
